We are representing a leading steel manufacturer and fabricator of parts and precision components that is searching for a Plant Manager in eastern Illinois.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management, Business or related degree.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience working metal-related management.
• Strong knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing projects.
• Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience preferably in steel or other related metals.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing multiple direct reports.
• Experience managing an IATF certified production facility is desired.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing, machining, scheduling and shop operations is preferred.
• Total compensation package, both annual base salary and bonus eligibility, is very competitive.
